Tour to the Eco Center “Jeyran” (Half Day)
Route: Bukhara – Jeyran Eco Center – Bukhara
Eco Center Jeyran is located 40km in the South-West of Bukhara and was created with purpose to protect and breed endangered creators of Bukhara regions Kyzyl-Kum desert.
Today this open-air nursery breeds several types of animals like - gazelle, onager, saiga, horse of “Prozhivalsk”, Bukharian deer, Markhor and many others.
Itinerary:
Pick from your hotel in Bukhara and drive to Jeyran Eco Center (40km – 40-50 min’s)
Arrival to the Jeyran Eco Center and sightseeing of natural reserve.
You’ll see rare species mentioned above which are included into World and Uzbekistan Red Book.
Also, you’ll visit lakes on the territory of the reserve where animals come for water.
Optional: You can adopt any species in a reserve for certain amount of money and give him a name and get a certificate of your good will in a return.
Drive back to Bukhara Hotel.
Best time to visit:
- Spring and Autumn. Timming: morning time 8.00 till 10.00, evening time 17.00 till 19.00
Clothing:
– trekking shoes, long sleeves shirt, hat, sunscreen.
