1)Know the country Nepal
Small, yet very beautiful country, Nepal is blessed with the highest mountain on this planet earth-Everest (8848m) also called Sagarmatha in Nepali, land-linked with Tibet in the north and India in the south. And besides the highest mountains in the world, Nepal has the rich and diverse ethos of ethnicity creating the country as one of the most unique nations wth the history, culture and tradition. Nepal also rich in its natural biodiversity with 9% of the birds of the world and many other species of wildlife including the big Cat Tiger and Great One-horned Rhino, squeezed within its tiny area in compared to most of the countries in the world.
2)What can you do in Nepal!

Yes, you need a valid visa to enter the country!

Visa can be obtained in your country or at any entry points, you are using upon arrival also.
5)What do I need and what is the cost of visit visa!
Please carry few pp size photos with you for visa with the visa fees. The fees are $25/$40/$100 for 15/30 and 90 Days respectively.

6)How safe is to travel solo, especially for women!
Nepal, probably one of the safest countries in the world to travel or visit even for solo women traveler in general. It is always advisable to know the area or destination you are travelling well and try to travel with your buddy or friend. At the same time try to respect and follow the norms and customs of the country and the area, travel with the valid visa and permits and keep away from any area that may be doubtful. The last but not the least, please make sure to pass the information of your where about to your family and friends and to the local authority too if possible.
7)What happens after arrival in Kathmandu airport!
Upon arrival proceed to the visa desk and collect your luggage. Coming out of the airport can be very chaotic. If you have your hotel and tour booked, wait till you get found. For our clients, we normally are at the airport with your names in our placard. Please wait and try to look at us and proceed. And if not try to book the prepaid taxi for the hotel you wish to go.
8)What do I expect when I come out of the airport!
If you are booked with us or any other expected pick up, wait and look into the placard on the other side and you can find the person. If not, you can get the pre-booked taxi from the counter in the exit or simply come out and try to find the taxi to your desired place, making sure you get to the right place.
9)How far is the airport from the main city of Kathmandu!
It depends where you are going! Thamel and most of the tourist hotel are located near the downtown that can take 15-30 minute depending on the traffic. if you are staying out of main downtown area, it can be near or far and can take accordingly.
10)Does Kathmandu have good hotel/s!
Kathmandu has all kinds of hotel from family run, budget to tourist standard and 4/5-star accommodation. The choice again depends on your choice and standard you are looking for. If you are booked, we usually use the medium range 2-3 star or Boutique, that are well known for their reliability and service for some time, so not to worry for that!
11)What are the main cities in Nepal!
Kathmandu is the capital city, with many other main cities like Pokhara, Bharatpur, Butwal, Gorkha, Dharan, Birgunj, Biratnagar, Jhapa, Nepalgunj and Dhangadi etc.
12)What are the main diets of Nepal!
Dal bhat in short that consist of boiled rice, lentil curry, vegetable, chicken or mutton curries, with pickles and curds are the main diets. At the same time MOMO (dumpling) is one of the most popular snacks or food that can be found almost every restaurant. Besides, there are range of non-veg and veg food with many western foods are available in main big tourist restaurants.
13)How safe is food in any restaurant!
Normal tourist outlets and popular ones in the streets of Thamel, Durbar Marg, Lazimpat, Patan, Bhaktapur and many other tourist restaurants are safe. In the beginning be careful with the drinking water and raw vegetables and peeled fruits before your system gets used to the food around.
14)How safe is drinking water!
Do use the bottled water only as other available water may contain germs, that could easily make you ill. Bottled water is available in most of tourist and big town of places, though this also a big issue of environment pollution and hence use it wisely. Whenever it’s possible, please use the boiled and treated water. Do carry water purification tablets to treat the water, before you use it.
