Day 1: Arrival To Arusha (1 Night)
The drive from Kilimanjaro International Airport to our lodge is approximately 45 minutes and the road is mostly paved. Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our private English-speaking guide will be waiting to welcome us to Tanzania. After a brief welcome and introduction, we will be assisted with luggage to our Air-conditioned vehicles. We will be transferred to Ngare sero Mountain Lodge or similar which is set at the foothills of Mount Meru. The lodge is a paradise for birds and nature lovers. Most of the riverine nooks and bends, and clearings in leafy groves, grant each dwelling its own sense of privacy and peace.
Depending on our time of arrival, we have the freedom for various activities to be arranged for us outside the lodge or you can opt to relax at the lodge and enjoy a massage, beer at the bar, swim at a sparkling pool, explore the gardens, and learn about plants, vegetables, and trees, talk a walk by the river beds or identify various birds
Day 2: Drive To Tarangire National Park (2 Nights)
The drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park is approximately 4 hours with the road being paved however some parts are rough, bumpy, and dusty. After breakfast, we will depart at around 10:00 A.M. through Arusha town. We will go past villages, market and other natural attractions, as we will learn and understand Tanzania's cultures, traditions, and people's daily lives from our experienced local guide while proceeding to our lodge for lunch. Later in the afternoon, we will enjoy our late lunch at to our lodge overlooking the beautiful lake Burunge. At the lodge you are free to explore through the lake shores, maybe try canoeing, or bird watching. You can also opt to relax at the lodge and enjoy the pool or chill at the Bar and interact with local guides.
Dinner will be ready at 07:00 A.M with a variety of local and western dishes.
Day 3: Tarangire National Park Game Drive (Optional Night Game Drive)
After breakfast, we will depart at around 07:00 A.M. and drive from our lodge to Tarangire gate on rough, bumpy, and dusty roads specially designed for our vehicles. We will get to experience the magic of this park and immerse ourselves in an inspiring beauty of nature. The park is rich with large elephant herds, antelopes such as giraffes, impalas, buffaloes, waterbucks, gazelles, etc., lions, leopards, hyenas and an incredible array of bird life and plant species including the famous Baobab tree, and of course magical landscapes.
We will enjoy our picnic bush lunch at around 12:00 P.M. overlooking the Tarangire river which is a vital lifeline for the animals in the park. We will proceed with game drive enroute to our lodge after lunch as we experience an incredible taste of adventure arriving at around 04:00 P.M. At the lodge you we are free to spend the day as we like with various suggestions from our guide.
Our dinner will be served at 07:00 P.M with a variety of both local and western dishes to choose from.
After dinner an optional night game drive adventure awaits as we are likely to experience some Tanzania's elusive animals.
(This activity is limited to a number of persons. Early arrangements should be made, at least 1 month before arrival to experience the thrill of the wild after dark)
Day 4: Drive To Ngorongoro Highlands (2 Nights)
Our drive to Karatu Via Mto Wa Mbu cultural town is approximately 5 hours and the road is mostly paved with few bumpy, rough and dusty parts.
After our breakfast, we will depart at around 07:00 A.M and drive to Mto wa mbu, the beautiful village on the boundary of lake Manyara with a very high and active cultural programme that seeks to show our travellers the traditional ways of life of the villagers through participation in various activities. Here we will experience an authentic cultural interaction with a mixture of tribes, culture, local artists. Visit the fertile lands, rice and red banana plantations. Moreover, we can taste local brews and try home made local dishes as well. Later at around 11:00 A.M we will depart the lodge.
Upon arrival at around 11:45 we will check in and enjoy our lunch at around 12:00 P.M. The rest of the day is ours to explore. We can opt to visit the elephant caves, makonde art carvings and painting, coffee tour, vegetable garden tour, visit karatu town, visit fame clinic, visit tloma village and play pool table with the locals, jog or hike in African mountains, and other variety of activities suitable at a particular time.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Highlands To Ngorongoro Crater
The drive from our lodge to the Crater floor is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes and the road is rough, bumpy, and dusty. After breakfast, exciting new safari experiences await us once we depart at around 07:00 A.M. to Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact caldera that supports wildlife. This gem comprises Savannah, swamps, salt and freshwater lakes, small rivers, and acacia woods, and is home to over 30,000 animals and some 400 bird species. Enjoy snacks and coffee on this early morning as you explore the beauty of the crater. Later we will have our hot lunch at around 12:30 P.M. at a picnic spot overlooking the hippo pool before we proceed with a game drive as we exit the crater to our lodge arriving at around 04:00 P.M where a wonderful masseuse awaits. You are free to spend the rest of the day as you please and our guide will assist us in planning activities of your interest.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Highlands To Serengeti National Park (3 Nights)
The drive from Ngorongoro Highlands to our Luxury camp in Serengeti is approximately 8 hours and the road is rough, bumpy, and dusty. After breakfast, we will board the vehicles and depart at around 08:00 A.M. to the Royal Serengeti, the vast and virgin landscape of Africa, the world's oldest ecosystem. Explore the nooks and the crannies of this incredible park, majestic endless plains, rolling hills, scattered kopjes, thousands of herds of antelopes, playground of the big cats, home of the big 5, and the great migration. We will go through the Ngorongoro Highlands on our way to Serengeti. Upon arrival at the entrance, we will stop for Hot Lunch, happy rooms, and other paperwork formalities before we proceed with a game drive on the last Eden before we arrive at the lodge at around 04:00 P.M. Our Serengeti luxury tented camp features a Private bath, Lounge, Dining areas, Fire Place, Smoking Zones, and wireless Internet access in common areas. At the camp you will be briefed then you are free to choose how you spend the rest of your day before dinner at around 07:00 P.M. featuring both local and western cuisines.
Day 7: Serengeti Full Game Drive (Optional Hot Air Balloon Ride)
Our game drives through Serengeti National Park will be over rough, bumpy, dusty ground on customized safari vehicles. In the morning, whether you choose to begin your day with a peaceful balloon ride or a game drive, the days just get better in the Serengeti. After breakfast, non-ballooners will depart at around 07:00 A.M embarking on a game drive in the park, catching glimpses of some of Africa's most iconic wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, hippos, gazelles and large antelopes. Your indispensable guide is an expert in tracking animals, knowledgeable on wildlife, culture, history and will stop at nothing to meet and exceed your expectations. In the afternoon, at around 12:30 P.M we will enjoy our lunch on the Savannah plains before proceeding with the game as we head to the lodge arriving at around 04:00 P.M. After a rich and exciting day you will retire to your accommodation for a leisurely dinner and a beer or cigarette around the fire.
Day 8: Explore The Serengeti Ecosystem
Our game drives through Serengeti National Park will be over rough, bumpy, dusty ground on customized safari vehicles. After breakfast, we will depart at around 07:00 A.M and track the great array of wildlife as we embark on a game drive across the extraordinary Serengeti. The sheer scale of the park will be highlighted today as you explore different parts of the ecosystem from grasslands to rolling hills, rivers, kopjes, prey and predators in action. After our hot lunch we will depart to the lodge/tented lodge arriving at around 04:00 P.M. You can choose to get a kitchen tour, Relax back at your room, reminisce at the fire Place or sip African wine in the lounge.
Day 9: Fly To Arusha - Dayroom - Transfer To Airport - Fly Home
Upon landing we shall visit the largest gallery in Africa before heading to our hotel for day room and lunch. Later, depending on your flight, various activities can be arranged for you

All cancellations must be done in writing and receipt thereof acknowledged by Tanzania Safari Collection to be a valid cancellation.
2. Cancellation of bookings is subject to the following conditions:
More than 61 days prior to booking, deposit is non-refundable.
60 days or less prior to the booking, 100% cancellation fee without refund.

We will endeavour to confirm your booking as soon as possible after receipt of payment of deposit however should we fail to secure this booking for any reason whatsoever, we will strive to procure alternative booking arrangements. Should these alternative arrangements not be suitable for yourself, Tanzania Safari Collection will refund your payment, subject to the terms and conditions of the supplier with whom the booking was made.
4. You will not be entitled to refunds for a no show or for a partially used booking.

In the unlikely event of a misquotation being made by Tanzania Safari Collection, we reserve the right to cancel a booking without any liability if the misquote results in a cost implication and any payment already made will be refunded to you.
